                                                            Text : The Macintosh family

The Macintosh family lives on a farm. The farm is in Scotland. Mr. Macintosh is a farmer. Three men work on the farm. They help Mr. Macintosh with the animals. Mrs. Macintosh does not work on the farm. She works in a school. She is a teacher. She teaches music. She can play the piano and the guitar. Mr. and Mrs. Macintosh have two children, Tom and Fiona. Tom Macintosh is learning to play the guitar and his sister, Fiona, is learning to play the piano. Mr. Macintosh can’t play the guitar or the piano but he can sing.

Sometimes, the family plays and sings together after dinner in the evening.

We always play games in the garden after school. Our favorite lessons are English and music. There are 20 boys. They are good boys. They aren't naughty. They help girls. My birthday is in January. Tina is my best friend. Her birthday is in March. I love all my friends! Our class teacher is Miss Wayne. She's 30. She is a nice teacher. She songs and dances well. Hello! My name is Mary Grant. I've got big dark eyes, long straight brown hair. I'm tall and thin. I'm 10 years old. I am American, but I don't live in America. I live in France with my parents and my sister, Gabi. My father is a biologist and he is here to study animal life. My mother is a nurse. She is working at the local hospital here in France. Our house is very big with a beautiful garden. There are lots of trees and flowers around the house. I like living here. Sometimes I go with my father to animals parks. Breakfast

These are the Browns. They are in the kitchen because it’s 8.30 and they are having breakfast. Mark isn’t eating now, he is playing with his dog. His dog’s name is Sniff. Julie and her mother are looking through the window. They can see squirrels. Julie and her mother always watch squirrels when they eat their breakfast. Julie is saying to her mum “Look mum! It is snowing.” They are very happy because today is Christmas. Julie and her brother love celebrating Christmas, they also like presents!                                                          I am sick
My name is Jacob and I am sick today. When I wake up, I start feeling bad again I have a headache. I go to see the doctor when I'm sick, and the doctor gives me medicine and tells me to stay in bed. I don't like it when I'm sick because I miss my friends at school and I always have a lot of homework to do when I go back to school. I like staying home: I get to watch TV and play computer games. I can also eat all the food that I want and sleep as much as I want. I eat soup when I'm sick. It makes me feel better. I don't like drinking medicine, it is yucky!
